About This Beer
To craft this stunner, the Heist crew started with rich bases aged 28 months in a combination of Stagg Jr. and Old Forester bourbon barrels. Then they blended the barrels together and conditioned the mix for almost two weeks on house toasted coconut and Ugandan vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
Enormous vanilla oak tones perfume the air with every pour. Every luxuriously silky, full bodied sip follows, with dark chocolate coconut truffle tones cascading into decadent nuances of bourbon custard and woody spice. Rich char and whiskey caramel notes swirl throughout, subtly hinting at the bold 14.3% ABV.
