When Heist opened in 2012, they were the only craft brewery in Charlotte, North Carolina. They were the first in the state to brew Hazy IPAs and they have an eclectic, farm-to-table food menu. In 2016, they won a bronze medal and the World Beer Cup and in 2017 they expanded to a 30 bbl production facility. According to Charlotte Magazine, they’re still “producing the best beer in town.”
