Like a zombie lurching toward living cerebrums, I’m a total sucker for Drekker Brewing’s luscious Fruited Sours. When I get an immense craving for tangy-tart explosions of fruit, I reach out to Fargo, North Dakota and groan for more Braaaaaaaains! 

If I’m lucky (and manage to speak coherently enough between thirsty grunts), those award winners grant me a stash of their latest limited Braaaaaaaains release. Like today’s Peach & Black Currant rendition!

In addition to lip-smacking additions of lactose, sea salt, and vanilla beans, the Drekker crew packed this thick smoothie of a brew with “Peach, MORE Peach, Black Currant, and MORE Black Currant.” 

Sure enough, each sip detonates on the tastebuds in thick waves of sweet, ripe peach and tangy-earthy black currant! Even at 7.3% ABV, it’s so velvety and drinkable that I have to have another can lined up and ready to go!

I know I’m not alone. In addition to the Tavoursters who snatched up the last few Braaaaaaaains in less than 12 hours each and gave them 4+ ratings, the Sour-sucking zombies in the Midwest are raving:
