About This Beer
You might want to chug Chasing Night Schwarzbier out of a drinking horn. The roasty, full-bodied flavors and crisp, dry finish make this brew a great way to quench your thirst after polishing your shield or battling some Romans.
Seriously! Check this out: in 1935, archeologists working in Northern Bavaria discovered the tomb of a high-ranking Celtic tribesman. They found everything he might need for the afterlife along with him, including a jug containing the remains of a light-bodied, black beer.
And while we’ll never have a chance to sip that 3,000 year old brew, we’re confident that this modern Black Lager is waaaaay better.
Tasting Notes
Every sip charges into battle with bold flavors of baker’s chocolate, freshly brewed coffee, and a touch of toffee. But it’s still a Lager, so it finishes clean and refreshing.
