In the words of Eddie Money: “You can’t keep a good [brewery] down!” Especially when that brewery is the father-son duo at Common Roots. ‘Cause even when, in the Spring of 2019, a fire ripped through the brewery, founders Christian and Bert Weber were determined to rise from the ashes. With the help of their local community — including a “Rally for the Roots” sponsored by their neighbors at Singlecut Beersmiths and Interboro Spritis and Ales — they got back to brewing the great beer they love. And with a massive 14,000 sq. ft. location and expanded taproom, fans couldn’t wait to get back to sipping on Common Roots’ signature hazebombs, like Pillow Gossip and Daylight IPA.
