A Note on This Beer

This Thanksgiving, I’m making the pie.

Are my family members worried? Of course. Should they be? Absolutely not! ‘Cause my trial-run peach pie tasted a heck of a lot like Drekker’s CHONK Orange Peach & Marshmallow Fruited Sour.

According to these skilled, fruit-focused brewers, “this hefty boi is stuffed with gobs of oranges, peaches, marshmallows, and lactose.” The result is absurdly decadent!

If you’ve had a chance to try anything from the 4+ UT rated CHONK series, you know that a delicacy awaits you in today’s juicy behemoth.

It absolutely bursts with velvety layers of citrusy wonderment, straight out of this fruit-osphere. And, it’s topped with dollops of creamy marshmallow and silky lactose, of course!

It’s almost as if the brewers took slices of peach straight out of an expertly-baked pie, tossed it in a blender with mandarin oranges for some zest, then spiked it with top-shelf booze and canned it.

There’s no way I’m showing up to Thanksgiving dinner without a few cans of this jammy masterpiece, JUST in case I end up botching my peach pie.

I love oranges. Has a strong orange taste along w a strong alcohol flavor. Other than that, not too bad. Better than the other Drekker one I tried. I think this series may be more my style (not the Braaains) -Faint marshmallow smell.

I've yet to be disappointed by a Chonk. I don't even read the varietal anymore, it just goes in the crate. This was more heavy on the citrus than I wanted for the notes, but still a smooth mouthful and delightful experience.

Must be enjoyed as cold as possible. It had an old school orange julius vibe going on that I liked. Can’t say I’d stock up on it or drink more than one, but it was a nice patio sipper on a hot Saturday afternoon.
