About This Beer
The craft wizards at Modist brewed Cobra Triangle with premium, floor malted German Pilsner malts. This brewing style imparts the beer with a richer, fuller flavor than you might expect in a Pils.
Then, they hopped the brew with local, Minnesota-grown Triple Pearl Hops, before aging and lagering it in American oak foeders for floral notes and whispers of sandalwood.
Tasting Notes
Bright, inviting aromas of toasted bread and lemon jam tease the nose as you pour. The taste is like a Quidditch match of freshly baked bread, zesty grapefruit, and zippy lemons, all whirring around your tongue on oak broomsticks. A pleasant bite tickles your tongue in the finish, inviting you to take another thirst-quenching sip.

easy drinking pils with subtle hoppy bitterness, less bitter than many other pilsners. oak most likely mellowed the bitterness while adding some vanilla, woody notes to the beer. very drinkable

I found this pilsner very drinkable, it had a light body with very faint notes of oak. I could drink 6 of these and feel refreshed. solid pilsner, would buy again to keep in rotation.

surprised by the oak finish here. charred barrels lends a smoky finish. delicious.

The mild smokiness is nice, but it kind of clashes with the body of the pils. Still a crushable pils with an interesting profile.
