About This Beer
To craft this confectionery treat, the Smog City crew started with a rich Imperial Stout brimming with cocoa notes. They aged the brew for over a year in freshly emptied bourbon barrels enveloping it all in nuances of whiskey caramel. Then they finished it on luscious vanilla and over 13lbs per barrel of coconut for gorgeously bright accents to the chocolate and oak.
Tasting Notes
Currents of silky, dark cocoa cascade into bourbon soaked crème brûlée and coconut oak on every sip. It’s like a bite of a luxurious chocolate truffle with a whiskey and coconut cream center.

Roasty coconut bourbon bliss. You could knock it for wanting something with more fullness but it hits near perfect for me.

Medium body with coconut and vanilla first rolling into a stout finish. Not too roasty though could taste the base stout well, powered through the alcohol while too cold and palette warming up.
