A Note on This Beer
Few things in life are more elegantly decadent than dining on Créme Brulée.
You start by gently tapping the top and cracking it open, exposing a wealth of creamy goodness underneath. You dive in, tantalizing your palate with waves of velvety custard, drippy caramel, and smooth vanilla. A sprinkle of cinnamon on the end draws you easily back for seconds.
Just to be clear, this is today’s Crème Brulée Vanilla Russian Imperial Stout we’re discussing here, not an actual French cream dessert.
That’s because the midwest Dark Beer masters at White Elm took the flavors of the beloved dessert and made them even better!
They hand scraped real vanilla beans straight into the beer’s base for soft sweetness, then added in a hefty dose of lactose for creamy luxury. It’s a silky, boozed-up version of a Crème Brulee that you can carry around in a glass!
It’ll be tough to go back to the real thing after sipping today’s RIS, and that’s okay. The regular dessert version doesn’t come with a 12% ABV!

**HEADS UP from the brewers — all White Elm cans are intentionally filled right to the brim and highly carbonated for your enjoyment. Always chill before opening to avoid any sticky spillover surprises.**
