About This Beer

My brother is so much like my dad that he says when it comes to genetics, he’s the apple that fell straight down. Luckily, that's not true when it comes to beer – he branched out and is now a certified craft fan!

And today’s 4.28 UT-rated Far From the Tree is right up his alley- juicy, tropical, and dank.

The brewers at Phase Three loaded it up with Citra and Simcoe Hops for an aromatic and flavorful Hazy experience that goes down smooth.

Unfortunately, Haze like this doesn't grow on trees, and unless you've got roots in Illinois, this brew is gonna be hard to come by.

Tasting Notes

It’s got a whole canopy of bright citrus notes - orange, grapefruit, and tangerine. All that tangy succulence blossoms into nuances of ripe pineapple and red delicious, leading to a piney, resinous finish.

Really good double Dhaka IPA. Too bad Tavour called this ddh Triple (10% abv) and not the double that it is (7.7 %). You wonder what their description reflects.
