About This Beer
Pittsburgh’s Deutschtown neighborhood was originally settled by German immigrants, and they still hold a German Parade every year. Needless to say, these folks know a thing or two about classic beer styles.
So when the crew at Burgh’ers set out to make their Deutschtown Pils, they knew it had to be good. And they nailed it — this stuff tastes like it’s straight outta Bavaria.
Tasting Notes
Nothing compliments a juicy bratwurst like the gently floral, slightly spicy Noble Hops in this clean, easy-drinking Pils. The bright, malty notes and deliciously crisp finish are just begging to refresh your palate after some salty snacks!

Awesome bready aroma, biscuit malt flavor dominates. Light and crisp up front, mildly bitter hops warm as it settles. Light sulfur creeps in at the end. Great representation of the style, with just a bit more hops than usual.

I sometimes try to determine what a beer is before I read about it, and this was spot on. This is the quintessential German style Pilsner.
