About This Beer
To craft it, the EQ crew teamed up with friends at Civil Society Brewing. The duo started with a sumptuous Stout base aged it in Heaven Hill barrels before transferring it to Weller barrels for a total of 28 months in bourbon-soaked oak. Then they layered it with ripe bananas, pillowy marshmallows, and rich peanuts.
Tasting Notes
Enormous notes of whiskey-kissed creme brûlée and banana custard course through every thick quaff. Bourbon caramel and marshmallow tones seep into decadent nuances of dark chocolate underneath. A cascade of creamy peanut butter and woody spice carry on the finish. Careful though — unlike your favorite sandwich, this beauty hides a 17% ABV!

These thick and sweet dessert bombs are just not my thing. All the adjunct flavors are there, but feels like I'm drinking a syrupy sundae topping instead of a stout. Hate to see the calorie count.
