A Note on This Beer

“Single-handedly the BEST IPA I’ve had in years”  @John S.

“Definitely the best beer of the day. Creamy and tropical! Fragrance hits you right away!” @Helen R.

“Love how the piney-ness intermingles with the citrus, front to back.” @Kurt R.

With that level of support from the community, how could you NOT check out this Hazy DIPA variant of Elder Pine’s “most popular” beer? Today’s meticulously crafted Double Dry-Hopped brew isn’t just a crowd-pleaser — its 8.7% ABV makes it a show stopper!

By doubling the hop saturation of their DIPA post-fermentation, they’ve juiced up the flavors of the Simcoe, Citra, and Comet Hops to make a ridiculously aromatic sipper with pungent passion fruit flavors and thick, sappy pine aromas.

All of Elder Pine's beers are a result of rigorous fine tuning by the Maryland family and brew crew — when they push the envelope to help craft lovers expand their palates, everybody wins. You included!

Lucky craft fans in Maryland are buzzing about this beer, and now you have a chance to join the conversation!

With Tavour, it's easy to beer it forward! Just head over to Tavour.com/gifts to send a gift box or gift card to the craft beer lover in your life. Cheers!

Tangy fruit bouquet with just the right amount of hops. Well balanced and a pretty creamy mouthfeel.

A really flavorful brew. Loads of citrus with a slap of sharp bitterness in all the right ways.

A very smooth beer. I’m not a huge fan of DIPAs since it had a strong hoppy overtone but I had no problem polishing it off.

This is everything I want in an IPA. Crisp and bright hops on a dense and resinous base that still manages a mouthfeel that isn't sticky or just overall "bleh" like the haze craze. Wishing I had more than 6!!

Tasty, very hoppy. Made the mistake of drinking it warm, I can only imagine that if I drank it cold that it would of been soo much better...

Stupid Good. A very unique complex flavor with some sort of something tropical. Brewery description cites pine sap flavors and if that’s what I’m tasting, than I want more.

Big fruit aroma. Exceptionally well balanced - not too sweet, not too bitter. Easy drinking DIPA!

Nice aromas. The flavors are okay. Not too overwhelming it’s the hops (as they are double dry hopped), but still not enough hop flavors, even if the astringency is gone. As the name implies, I would have expected more resinous qualities, but not nearly enough. There is, however, a very pleasant Yuzu lingering aftertaste. Overall good, but I’ve had much better DDH IPAs.

Smooth! Slight citrus taste on the front end that gives way to just enough bitterness to even this one out and make it deliciously well balanced.

Fruity, but with a resinous kick. Elder Pine is a brewery to be reckoned with
