About This Beer
Phase Three crafted this Imperial Milkshake IPA with real orange, vanilla, and lactose for creamy cascades of popsicle flavor. But they also hopped it with Citra and Simcoe for complementary tangy, tropical nectar with resinous nuance. Plus it has a 9% ABV, and that never hurts!
Tasting Notes
Luscious orange kissed with succulent pineapple and mango notes drip into waterfalls of velvety vanilla on every thick sip. Wafts of soft pine and grapefruit rise on the end in delicious contrast.

Smells like a creamsicle, but the flavors are not as melded with lactose dominating.

The aromatics of this beer are wonderful, with orange and vanilla on the nose. When it comes to the taste, orange and vanilla stand out yet again. A true milkshake beer that actually lives up to its billing.

I am not really an IPA person, but this beer may have swayed me. Very drinkable, and at 9% that could be trouble. Worst part was I only bought 1.

As a stout drinker (and not an IPA fan) I loved it. My husband the IPA drinker liked the flavor but thought it was too heavy for an IPA

It’s an orange milkshake in beer form! Wasn’t expecting how hoppy it would be for a milkshake IPA, but it was very complimenting.

Not a huge fan of this one, it tasted overly additive. The vanilla tasted like vanilla extract and the orange was a little off. I’ve had other iterations of this style that were remarkable but this missed the mark for me. 9% ABV was a plus.
