A Note on This Beer
In a beer-rich city like Charlotte, NC — with more than 30 bustling breweries — it can be hard for one to stand out among the rest. But not for Heist.
These World Beer Cup medal-winning brewers have a vast and varied beer list, sure to please anyone who grabs a seat at one of their two massive locations (which, by the way, feature an upscale library, a sports-oriented taproom, and a sprawling patio space).
Oh, and did I mention that they’re “producing the best beer in town” according to Charlotte Magazine? Craft fans have been known to line up overnight to get their mitts on Heist’s highly-anticipated releases!
So when it comes to choosing a light, crisp sipper that can bring me a smidge of southern summertime year round, I’m looking right to these Carolina crafters.
Druid Pils Lime is a citrusy twist on their fan-favorite Pilsner. A zip of refreshing lime flows over the soft, crushable body. And it delivers a 6% ABV that’s surprising for the style but smooth enough to sip all day, whether you’re online holiday shopping or cheering the Hornets on to victory.
This taste of Charlotte’s favorite is like a sip of sunshine — even when it’s bleak outside my window.
