About This Beer
They started by aging the brew for 11 months in freshly emptied Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Then they transferred a small portion into a single, freshly emptied cognac cask where it slumbered for another 9 months!
Tasting Notes
Every sip overflows with rich chocolate character that dissolves into notes of top shelf whiskey and the smooth, slightly vinous notes of cognac. Hints of date and plumb linger on the periphery while just a hint of oak whispers across the finish, leaving little trace of the big 13.9% ABV.
