About This Beer
Clocking in at a whopping 19.7% ABV, suffice to say that Bourbon Barrel Aged Fimbulwinter is not your average summer crusher.
To make this legendary brew, the crew at White Elm crafted a super boozy Eisbock-style Lager and tucked it away for a long winter’s nap in maple bourbon barrels. It came out utterly transformed into a dark, complex sipper that blurs the line between a beer and a spirit.
Tasting Notes
Fimbulwinter is smooth and clean, with a touch of smoky maple sweetness, a dash of dark fruit, and a boozy bite. An oaky nuance from the barrels comes through in soft vanilla and subtle tannins.

Maple bourbon barrel aged lager, you say? 19.7% ABV? Holy SHIT, that’s good! Strong maple, slight barrel-aged, and good toffee-type notes.
