About This Beer
The craft masters at Casita Brewing teamed up with their fellow NC natives at New Anthem to create this masterpiece. They started with a base of Maris Otter barley, honey malt, and flaked rye, and then hopped it “over and over” with a juicy blend of Simcoe and Mosaic.
Tasting Notes
Each succulent sip swells with gorgeous ripples of ripe pineapple, passionfruit, and surprising notes of peppery spice. It’s all wrapped in a smooth, malty mouthfeel that allows the sweet-spicy complexity to really shine.

I’d put this IPA up against the “big boys” of hops and it would stand strong. Very good

Daily corona battle. And other day done edition. The honey malt creates some sweetness, offset by the rye and plenty of hopping. Sweet and smooth and somewhat rich.

The touch of sweetness is balanced nicely by the citrus and slight bite of the hops. A bit of rye on the nose adds a nice complexity. Good mouth feel but just the tiniest bit syrupy for my taste but not bad for a DIPA. Could maybe use a tiny bit more carbonation for mouth feel and the slight bit of acidity it would add might further balance the sweetness to bring this up to 5-star territory. Overall very solid and I’d certainly drink it again.

Tangy, hoppy, then malty. A bit heavy for my taste but it does indeed taste unlike any other DIPA out there.

Great IPA for beginners tryin to get into the sport, but may fall short for those looking for something that is gonna knock them off their toes. Overall great flavor, not the slightest bit dry. Mild hoppiness, carbonation, and
sweetness creates a smooth mouth watering experience.
