Casita is owned and operated by Mahalia and Ryan Witter-Merithew. Mahalia as the majority owner which means Casita Brewing is proud to be a female-owned, minority-owned business. This is just one small way in which Casita aims to “grow change.” The brewery also donates 25% of all tips to a different non-profit each month. Meanwhile, bartenders at Casita aren’t reliant on tips and are compensated well above minimum wage to make up the difference in donated tips.
