About This Beer
To craft this decadent delight, the California Stout savants aged their beloved Black Tuesday base in bourbon barrels, imbuing the brew with rich whiskey caramel and woody spice. Then they conditioned the brew on Oregon-grown hazelnuts for a dynamic accent to the barrel character.
Tasting Notes
Sumptuous dark chocolate and espresso notes cascade into hints of vanilla oak and burnt sugar on every luxurious quaff. Toasty, nutty nuances gorgeously highlight the toffee tones from the casks like a bourbon-soaked praline. Careful though — it might all taste like a whiskey-kissed hazelnut mocha, but there’s a 20.3% ABV hidden in these dark depths!
