About This Beer
This inky sipper grew up at Heist, which Hop Culture calls one of the Best Breweries in Charlotte. They raised it on chocolatey malts, then aged the roasty brew in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, blended it, and conditioned it on toasted wild Thai bananas, peanuts, and cacao nibs.
Tasting Notes
All grown up, each bottle balances a dry base character with whiskey-laced sweetness and the rich, caramelized tones of flame-kissed bananas. Smooth, chocolatey mouthfuls finish with earthy nuttiness and a splash of boozy spice.
