It starts with a malty sweetness, hints of coconut sprinkled fudge flavors, and a roasty backbone underneath to balance the brew in decadent delight. There’s also thick, rich notes of caramel, and a belly-warming heat underneath each sip.

Plenty of barrel flavor, I’m not as wild about the wave of coconut behind this one.

Roasty coffee, but I was missing the coconut until it warmed.

Horrible. Wet used old coffee grains. That’s what this beer tastes like. Huge disappointment! Maybe I had a bad beer or one from the bottom of the cask. Either way it was horrible. Poured it out.

Has the backbone to be something good but just not delivering. Taste the a hint of coconut. Coffee is there with some bourbon. May just need more time in the bottle to develop. Too bad this is my only bottle.

Heavy on the coconut which works well.

Love the balance and it brings a little heat too. The coconut comes through nicely and the coffee certainly isn’t hiding, but wish it was just a bit. Super fun and would love to have more to try. Cheers.

Not a fan of coffee flavors but the coconut helped to smooth that out. Not a fan of this one, that’s just me. I shared it with a buddy and he loved it.

Waaaaay too much coffee, hardly and coconut, and hardly any taste of barrel aging.

Trying this in mid-2022, the barrel and coconut have all but disappeared but it left a very satisfying coffee profile that dominated.

best coffee porter out there imho. I will buy no one else for a caffeinated porter. I’ve no need to try.
