A Note on This Beer
Joy as an Act of Resistance? Absolutely!
All of our lives have been changed by COVID-19, and finding joy in the everyday is a powerful tool for resisting the negativity that isolation can bring.
I’ll be honest — one way I find joy is by ending each day with a can of refreshingly delicious beer!
Today, I’m kicking back with Joy as an Act of Resistance from the creative geniuses at Casita Brewing. The brewers crafted this intriguingly tart and fruit-filled Sour IPA with heaps of juicy guavas and sweet-tart passionfruit!
A blend of Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, Moteuka, and Pacific Sunrise Hops compliment the tropical flavors, while oats, wheat, and lactose add a creamy, full-bodied mouthfeel. Each sip overflows with tropical fruit juice, a hint of white wine, and a whisper of pithy orange zest on the finish.
It’s causing craft fan @Kristen A. to shout, “Oh my gosh, it's so amazingly delicious! No way does this taste like a DIPA.” And @Yolo declares, “Might be a perfect beer. Never leaving this place!!!”
While Casita’s co-founder, Ryan, is no stranger to pushing the boundaries of hops and fruit, Sour IPAs like this are still a rare treat on Tavour! So, go ahead — dive headfirst into this sea of tropical deliciousness, and learn how much joy the simple things can bring.
