About This Beer
It’s hard to get Kicked Out the Waffle House, but there’s one way, and it’s decidedly more delicious than tossing chairs at the grill cook. Just taunt them with all the Madagascar vanilla beans, coffee, and real maple syrup that Weathered Souls packed into their buzzy, 4.27 UT-rated Imperial Stout!
Tasting Notes
Instead of boiling pots of java flying across the lobby, waves of bold espresso rush your palate. And rather than a plate of pancakes shattering against the wall, the roasty malt base blends with gooey ripples of maple and vanilla to construct a short stack on your taste buds.

Blueberry waffles. That is all.

Well if I was drunk and ate at IHOP. Pretty much sums it up. All of the sweet sugary goodness, plus alcohol.

drinkable for the high ABV but too sweet for me

Hands Down A Must!!! This thang Thicc and syrupy. Sweet molasses on the nose, great pour with minimal head and minimal carbonation. Great mouth feel that coats and leaves a great taste for such high ABV.

This beer reminds me when I got drunk with my buddies in a waffle house in Oakland, with a very heavy handed bartender (in the waffle house)

Thick foamy head, maple syrup aroma with a hint of cinnamon, silky smooth mouthfeel, sweet maple syrup and vanilla tastes, pleasant roasted coffee finish, absolutely no idea I’ve been drinking a 13.5% ABV stout.

This version comes in at 12% ABV. Jet black pour. Brief tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma hints at vanilla and cinnamon. Flavor is rich and robust. Notes of dark brewed coffee, vanilla and cinnamon. Added notes of molasses and maple syrup. Boozy undertones. Maybe some charred wood, as well. Certainly interesting.

Big dark robust Breakfast Stout with tons of maple syrup and a touch of coffee. Rich and robust ! Not much coffee, vanilla and cinnamon as advertised on the label. No mention of Maple Syrup. Strange but delicious!
