But unlike JK, the crew at Weathered Souls has made a name for itself with in vogue, New American styles including adjunct laden Stouts and lighter brews. Their impactful Black is Beautiful initiative has drawn even more attention to the brewery. BIB, which aims to bridge the gap between people of color and the brewing industry has been hugely successful, collaborative, and has been recognized by the likes of the New York Times, CNN, Forbes, Thrillist, Hop Culture, Food and Wine, and Craft Beer and Brewing.
