A Note on This Beer
I bet the brewers at White Elm were those kids who constantly hovered in the kitchen growing up — sneaking chocolate chips and swipes of brownie batter, then begging to lick the beaters when the time was ripe.
Now, they’re all grown up and full-fledged bakers of their own — only their melty treats come in cans, with booze!
Like today’s 12% ABV Lick the Spoon Imperial Milk Stout.
This dark delight tastes more like ooey gooey chocolate brownie batter with each silky sip. And it should, because the White Elm crew loaded the brew with a baker’s dream of liquid cacao, cocoa powder, and Ugandan vanilla!
I practically had to beg like a kid in the kitchen for a stash, though. Like all White Elm goodies, this luscious, chocolatey Stout doesn’t normally stray outside of Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska!
*HEADS UP from the brewers — always chill before opening to avoid any sticky spillovers! White Elm intentionally fills all their cans to the brim and highly carbonates them for your enjoyment.
