A Note on This Beer
A 4.25 UT-rated Equilibrium collab with Obercreek Brewing?! Excuse me while I faint from sheer excitement.
What’s that? Not sure why every succulently juicy sip of Linear Phase has me going ga-ga? I’ll tell you!
It’s from real masters! Equilibrium’s head brewer, Pete Oates, is a chemist with a PhD, and he scientifically designs every hopbomb to please the palate. Obercreek, meanwhile, is the #8 nano-brewery in the world on Untappd!
It’s a true hop BOMB! The brewers use Citra and Strata in the whirlpool before gloriously dry-hopping with extra doses of Citra and Strata, plus Galaxy.
It’s juicy-delicious! Aromas of tropical tangerine and lemongrass greet the nose upfront, followed by gushes of fresh-cut orange, passionfruit, and melon flavors. Soft whispers of jammy berry and zesty lime add depth while stealthily concealing the 8% ABV.
It’s crazy pillowy! Flaked wheat and flaked oats in the base keep every sip soft, fluffy, and super drinkable down to the last drop.
The folks at Equilibrium say the name Linear Phase represents “the pinpoints between Middletown and Wappingers, the home base for each brewery.” As far as your senses are concerned, though, Linear represents a straight shot into quenching, pillowy bliss.
Tasting is believing, though — you know what to do, hophead!
