A Note on This Beer
How did Gigantic Brewing turn their beloved Most Premium Russian Imperial Stout into today’s 12.4% ABV Most Most Premium?
They aged it in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels for two full years!
That’s not just premium, that’s most most premium, because Heaven Hill has won Whiskey Advocate’s Whiskey of the Year 12 freakin’ times.
Last time we managed to get our hands on a few bottles of this ink-black pour you guys went bonkers, rating it an astronomical 4.27 on Tavour! So when our buds down in Portland at the Oregon Beer Award winning Gigantic offered us a few more cases they’d been guarding in the cellar, we pounced on it.
If you missed out, now’s your chance to make up for it. And if you were one of the lucky few who managed to snag a bottle last time around, you probably aren’t even reading this because you’ve already ordered more and are busy doing your best happy dance.
You probably look ridiculous, but we get it. We did a happy dance ourselves when we secured more Most Most Premium. Especially after we opened a bottle.
Roasty, rich malts lurk in its depths, creating waves of bitter chocolate aromas. Then there’s even more dark chocolate complemented by notes of charred caramel, toasted coconut, and the slightest hint of blackberry jam. Vanilla and oak come around at the finish, bringing us back to the bourbon that makes this brew so boozy and delicious.
If you missed out on Most Most last time, grab a bottle and discover what got our members so excited. And if you did manage to grab a sip then… Nevermind. You’ve already hit order. You’re not reading this anyway.
