My brothers and I have a tradition: every Friday night, we hop on our group chat and share what beer we’re drinking. The person with the best/most interesting beer is crowned Beer King for the week. This time around, I’ve found a beer that will earn me the title of Supreme Beer Ruler for all time. 

No Save Point from Modist Brewing Company — a collaboration with Run the Jewels. 

Yes, the famous hip-hop superduo! Now you understand why this brew will garner such a noble title. The innovative brewers at Modist were stoked to work with the critically acclaimed musicians to create this Double Dry Hopped New England IPA celebrating the release of the RTJ’s newest song “No Save Point.” 

The brewers pumped this bad boy full of Strata, Citra, Mosaic Hops, plus a few doses of ultra-potent Cryo Sabro, Cryo Citra AND Cryo Mosaic. This IPA boasts a full body punch of juicy orange, passion fruit, and lime flavor. It’s no wonder it’s earned a 4.36 rating on Untappd. 

With No Save Point in my fridge, I’ve definitely secured myself the Beer King title.
