About This Beer
To craft this one, the Casita crew started with a sumptuous Barleywine base aged 12 months in ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks previously used to finish Jim Beam bourbon. Then they transferred it to apple brandy barrels for an additional 20 months of aging.

Every sip is like biting into a decadent chocolate covered caramel apple. Currents of brandy-soaked apple pie filling cascade into nuances of decadent, dark ganache with brown sugar and whiskey tones swirling throughout.

super sour. doesn't match the description at all. disappointed with this one.

Infected or simply bad. Sour apple, but not related to the brandy aging. Hopefully just a bad batch, but disappointing.
