A Note on This Beer
Hoppy Homecoming: A massive double dry-hopping of Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado pours on the citrus flavors. Tastes Like Homemade: It tastes like a spoonful of grandma’s marmalade, with notes of white grapefruit and tangy tangerine.
In March of 2019, a raging fire completely gutted Common Roots. That could have been the end of the brewery.
Instead, the community of South Glen Falls, New York rallied around their hometown beer heroes, raising enough money to move them to a temporary space while they rebuilt the brewery.
This month, Common Roots finally moved back home!
For us, their story shows just how much a brewery can impact a community. How it can bring a town together, even when disaster strikes. That’s why we’re toasting father-and-son founders Bert and Christian Weber, the brewery team, and the entire town of South Glen Falls with today’s Original Concept IPA.
Because without the tenacity of the folks who work at the brewery, and the support of the local craft beer community, this deliciously juicy IPA wouldn’t even exist!
So please, join us in raising a glass! Here’s to great friends, great beers, and never giving up when things get tough. Here’s to Common Roots — welcome home!
