A Note on This Beer
One of my favorite childhood memories is helping grandma bake peach cobbler. I’d stand on a step stool in the kitchen, covered in flour up to my armpits, while she patiently allowed me to mix the dough batter.
Once it went into the oven, the kitchen would fill with the ambrosial scent of fresh peaches, cinnamon, sugar, and butter. All the while, I’d stand there impatiently salivating.
Today’s Peach Shove It has all of the mouthwatering flavors of that scratch-made peach cobbler, minus the wait — it takes all of two seconds to crack open!
The confectioners at The Brewing Projekt loaded this Imperial Sour with peaches, graham crackers, cinnamon, and lactose for a taste worthy of The Great British Baking Show!
But even the delightful contestants on that show wouldn’t stand a chance against this peach crumble! Just listen to what craft fans are saying:
- “One of the best sours I’ve ever had.” @Xavier L.
- “Delicious and dangerous. Super creamy and drinkable. Gimme more!” @K
- “Like drinking an old fashioned peach pie.” @Robert S.
Everyone deserves a slice of this peachy delight! But, if you’re gonna share this thick and boozy dessert with grandma, you may wanna warn her first — it clocks in at an outrageous 11.5% ABV!
Food & Wine calls The Brewing Projekt one of their 19 Craft Breweries Worth Going Out of Your Way For!
