A Note on This Beer
Head’s up — we only have 203 bottles of today’s dry-hopped, mixed-fermentation Farmhouse Ale to share.
Before they fly away, here are a few reasons why you should pour a glass of Plantasia:
- It comes from Oxbow, a little farmhouse brewery nestled in the countryside of Newcastle, Maine. Their local spring water and lush landscape infuses everything they craft, resulting in uniquely scintillating sippers!
- They brewed it with lemongrass, juniper berries, and local wildflower honey, before dry-hopping to coax out even more flavor.
- They used whole leaf Centennial Hops in the dry-hop — not cones — for extra-potent notes of wildflowers and freshly cut grass.
The taste is bright and smooth, washing the palate with crisp, white wine and zesty lemons. Honey adds a mellow, easy-going sweetness, and the finish is replete with lip-smacking tannins.
If you’re like me, you’re already looking for an excuse to dine al fresco with this gorgeous brew by your side. Take a slow, mouthwatering sip, and savor the last sweet moments of summer.

light, refreshing, easy to drink. flavors are fairly mild but pleasant. almost as much juniper as hop but those bitter flavors do just overpower the sweeter lemongrass and honey.
