Oxbow’s story began back in 2011, when Tim Adams began brewing rustic, farmhouse-style brews on a piece of property way off the beaten path in rural Maine. Since then, they have grown into one of the most beloved and respected breweries in the craft-soaked state! All these years later, the brewery is still in a barn, with barrels stacked next to equipment, and some of the region’s very best beer available in the nearby taproom. As they’ve grown, they’ve expanded, with a bottling and blending house in Portland that also houses a tasting room, and a beer garden in Oxford, Maine, about 45 minutes up the road. While the brewery has grown, the beers have only gotten better. Fans flock to the tasting rooms for Farmhouse Pale Ale, a mixed fermentation Ale that blurs the line between Pale and Saison, as well as their Loretta Grisette and Luppulo Italian-style Pilsner.
