To craft their newest Hefty Fruited Seltzer, Drekker says their “mad scientist brewers set their adjunct-o-matic juice beams to TROPICAL and blasted out the vibes.”

Mango, passionfruit, and lime vibes, that is! Each can comes stuffed with loads of real fruit, alongside dollops of plush, marshmallow fluff for a gushy-thick mouthfeel. No lactose needed!

It tastes like Drekker’s smoothie specialists took a mango margarita, blended in real passionfruit, and rounded it out with a luxuriously creamy dash of vanilla.

Overall solid. The mouthfeel is thick and smooth and there is no fermentation aftertaste like in other smoothie seltzers I have tried from other breweries. The flavor combo in this one however is a little bland to me. The mix of the lime and passionfruit mostly wash out the mango and I just barely get the marshmallow notes peeking through. Hoping to try a few more variations of PLOP before I make a verdict on the series overall.

DREKKER : PLOP This is a hard seltzer smoothie. If you like mango and you like hard seltzer’s…..we’ll this is one you should try. The mango is sweet and tart with some nice lime and passion fruit notes on back end to balance out the mango. The 7.5% is non existent in the tasting. Problem with this is that I can see adding some hard liquor to this and it would be EXTREMELY dangerous for the inexperienced. Proceed with caution. I give this a 92( a little sweet and needs more lime and passion fruit for added balance). This is not what I thought would be from graphics on can. Was expecting something “creamsicle” like

The best plop I have tried so far, Drekker is my favorite brewing company. They definitely did well with this one. Very refreshing and tastes amazing without being heavy on the stomach.

Far from a smooj and some of the marshmallow turns into astringent notes somehow. Or the odd lime and passionfruit kill it somehow. It definitely seems like the lime is strongly eating away the marshmallow in this, bitter weirdness.

go down to New Orleans order a hurricane and then ask for mango juice to be dumped in with it and this is what you’ll get. All mango with a nice hint of grapefruit to round out that hurricane signature taste.

what’s in a name… nothing good in the case of Plop. This thick seltzer led the unpleasant bitterness of battery acid on the tongue. With a touch of tropical mango to brighten it up
