A Note on This Beer
Yum! This new peach edition of Barn Beer is hitting all the right spots on my taste buds.
USA Today calls Barn Beer the closest thing “to tasting a sense of New York's terroir that you can find.”
Many people fall in love with Plan Bee Farm Brewery’s flagship Farmhouse Ale at first tangy-sweet sip. And, Hannah Carlson of PorchDrinking.com really nails why:
“Barn Beer starts as beautifully as it finishes – flavors are a balance between acidity, sweet citrus and ripe pineapple... In short, drink this beer. As soon as you can.”
What she doesn’t mention is that this impressive Wild Farmhouse Ale was crafted on an actual farm in New York’s lush Hudson Valley. The folks at Plan Bee love their region so much, they use 100% local ingredients. Even the oak they aged Barn Beer in came from upstate New York!
Now, the brewery has elevated their fan favorite flagship Farmhouse by fermenting it on whole peaches and pressed peach juice from local orchards. Now, its funky pineapple flavors swirl around notes of juicy stone fruit.
And, while this complex and refreshing sipper known as Pompatus normally doesn’t leave the Northeast, we agree with the hype: you deserve a sip as soon as possible. Consider it a craft fan must-try!
