A Note on This Beer
Have you ever slow-poured a crispy Pils? If not, now’s a great chance to start! The crew at Alma Mader made today’s crusher for slow pouring, which creates fuller aromas, crisper flavors, and a more refreshing finish!
It just takes a little patience and a love for great beer the way it’s meant to be tasted:
- Pour the brew smack dab in the middle of the glass bottom until the foam reaches the top. This will release the hop aromas from the carefully-added Czech Hops, filling the room with jasmine and lemon citrus. Wait, and allow the foam to lower all the way down.
- After the foam settles, vigorously pour back to the top, such that a domed head surfaces at the top of the beer. This should fill the glass about ¾ with beer, with the domed head being smaller, lighter bubbles than a traditionally-poured pint. Once more, let that foam simmer down.
- After the remaining foam eases, top your glass off and enjoy the light gold brew replete with fresh baked bread and honey notes and a crisp, oh-so-satisfying finish!
While this is particularly good in proper Pilsner glasses, a standard pint glass works fine, too! Just make sure to let us know when you’re the newest member of the Slow Pour Fan Club.
