A Note on This Beer
My grandmother and I always had a deal when it came to making berry cobbler. I’d pick the berries, and she’d do the baking.
It was tough work picking all those blueberries and blackberries off their wiggly vines. But, the reward of grandma’s freshly-baked, vanilla-cinnamon treat was well worth it!
It seems the brewers at White Elm are just as committed to tasty rewards. They condition their Pulpagogo Blueberry Blackberry Cobbler Fruited Gose on 100 lbs per barrel of luscious blueberry and blackberry puree!
First, they load today’s Gose with delectable waves of cinnamon and bready graham cracker. It’s a treat that tastes just like grandma’s cobbler — with a boozy kick. Then, they add heaps of succulent vanilla for a sweet and smooth “a la mode” mouthfeel.
Beware, my cobbler-lovin’ friends. Unless you live near Lincoln, NE, the chances of getting your paws on a can are slim to none. Luckily, these dexterous brewers are sharing it with you today, right here!
White Elm has been featured by The Beer Connoisseur and The Beer Travel Guide as one of the Best Breweries in Nebraska!
*HEADS UP from the brewers — always chill before opening to avoid any sticky spillovers! White Elm intentionally fills all their cans to the brim and highly carbonates them for your enjoyment.
