About This Beer
Unique ingredients — including many from the brewery’s own farm — form the basis of each of Plan Bee’s hyper-local Wild Ales. The grain, wild cultivated yeasts, quince, and even the oak tanks used to craft this effervescent treat all come from New York State.
Tasting Notes
Nuances of quince drift subtly through this sour and funky brew, expressing notes of pear, honey, and apple blossom. The Ale’s tanginess adds an additional layer of lime zest and pineapple for a hint of tropical flavors.
With a refreshing oak finish, this crisp, tart sipper would be especially enticing with tapas, including manchego cheese and Spanish quince paste.

Wish I’d tried it with food; seems good for pairing. Much more apple/quince-forward than advertised. Getting a tiny bit of the oak finish but left wanting more.
