The North Carolina oak-aging experts at Heist put some serious time into this one. They matured the brew for a full year in a wheated Woodford Reserve barrel, then they transferred it to an Old Fitzgerald 19-year barrel for another 12 months! Finally, they finished the beer on Madagascar vanilla beans.
