About This Beer
To craft Rwanda French Press, these brew baristas added heaps of toasted hazelnuts and Rwandan coffee beans to their silky Milk Stout base. The result tastes 10x more luxurious than my daily cup(s) of java!
Tasting Notes
It’s dark as night and creamy as a cloud. Lush vanilla and candied hazelnut flavors add a touch of sweetness on top of velvety layers of rich espresso. Even with a buzzy 10.8% ABV, it’s so smooth that it practically doubles as a hazelnut flat white.

It doesn’t have the richness you’d expect, but still a very great stout.

Coffee taste upfront, then it seems like it’s about to get really heavy, but never really does. Pretty good

this is good

smooth, almost silky mouth feel. Medium roast coffee, heavy with the hazelnut, finishes sweet and syrupy. much sweeter than expected but with good coffee flavor.

delicious

Coffee and light hazelnut in aroma. Flavor follows aroma with the coffee a bit more prominent. Around mid taste, get chocolate orange notes, which was unexpected.

Creamy, coffee, hazelnutty goodness!

It tastes just like black coffee. A little too bitter for me.

Mouthfeel was fine. But straight peppers, strange fruity, slightly tart… dare I say it is infected? Sad drain pour.

Coffee!

This is straight up, pure, no frills coffee flavor. Almost tasted more like carbonated coffee than it did a beer. I like coffee and I think for a coffee flavored beer, it was done well, except I've definitely had better coffee stouts with more complex flavor notes (caramel, milk sugar, etc).

high end coffee stout

Really smooth coffee brew. Would've love to have the hazelnuts come through a bit more with the roast but just a dang nice dark one.

very smooth, coffee is not overpowering as in so many other stouts I’ve had, usually coffee flavor takes over but the hazelnuts come through nicely in this, very well balanced, would definitely buy again

I think I got a bad can/batch.. I'll spare the details. (yes, it was my first beer of the night) 3 stars for color, aroma & thickness.

Hazelnut didn't come through in mine, unfortunately, but still a good strong coffee stout.

Coffee rises to the top with smooth chocolate and vanilla flavors following. Well made brew that is balanced.
4.25
Strong coffee flavor. Best drank slightly warm. When cold or even somewhat cold it's pretty intense.

Creamy head, dark roasted coffee aroma with tobacco notes, slightly sweet dark roasted coffee taste with a hint of hazelnut, and a silky mouthfeel.

Creamy lactose on the front end with roasted burnt coffee on the back end. Really not boozy but heaps of chocolate and hazelnut. possibly too much hazelnut vs. coffee for me. Slight syrup.
4.25
Strong coffee flavor, a little dark chocolate taste, dark pour, smooth and easy sipper. One will fill you up.

Super tasty coffee beer! Lots of depth of coffee bean flavor, tasted fruit notes. Not super creamy but had a touch of nice texture.
