A Note on This Beer

New York cheesecake topped with fresh strawberries is one of my favorite desserts in the whole world.

But, ever tried making one? It takes FOREVER. You have to bake it low and slow for several hours and let it chill overnight — and that’s just the Cliffs Notes version!

Why slave away in the kitchen when you can whet your whistle with Secret Handshake - Strawberry Cheesecake from Drekker Brewing instead?

The brewers made this delightful Milkshake IPA with Belma and Mosaic Hops, along with an insane amount of strawberries, marshmallows, graham crackers, cinnamon, lactose, and vanilla beans. This was unexpectedly the best beer I’ve had in a very long time and I’m now a Drekker Brewing Co fan. Even funnier my good friend I stay with is a former ND resident. Flavor blew our minds, thought the taste would be a bit more abnormal!

Super fruity, super smooth, and nice and tangy. I’m VERY picky with sweet beers because they can easily be overdone but THIS is perfect, all natural sweetness, all freakin cheesecake!

I really loved the flavor on this beer, the flavor only opened up the more it warmed up. It really did taste like a strawberry cheesecake. I would have like there to be a bit more hoppyness to it but I'm still happy with the beer. Very nice pinkish hue to it

I’m not a fan of IPAs. They are too bitter for my taste, but this one is delicious. The bitterness is very subtle, and it had a very pleasant slightly sweet creamy strawberry taste.

I first bought the beer to see how close it really was to a strawberry cheesecake and was not surprised to see that it didn't tasted sweet, however it didn't disappointed at all. Even though it didn't tasted sweet, it was still very refreshing and helped me relax throughout the day.
