When City Pages referred to Shook Pineapple as the latest “sprint-to-the-liquor-store beer” from Modist Brewing, they weren’t kidding.

Local juice fiends are unwaveringly devoted to this fruit-blasted Milkshake IPA series. Craft buds @thebeerdudes on Instagram admit they once drove all over the Minneappolis-St. Paul metropolitan sprawl buying up leftover cans of Shook from every store!

And, now that Shook Pineapple is back, even more thirsty Minnesotans are racing to get another taste of this softer-than-satin delight. 

Brewed with Sultana Hops, sweet Madagascar vanilla beans, “tons of real pineapple,” and creamy lactose, this beer is a doozy of an easy drinker. It flows thick and smooth, full of tongue-tingling pineapple potency with hardly any bitterness, at all.

It straight up tastes like a tropical mix of valencia oranges and pineapple chunks, blended together and crafted into a Painkiller cocktail — “shook,” not stirred, of course.

But, don’t bother circling your city looking for a can — you won’t see any of this hoppy pineapple milkshake outside of Minnesota, except for right here, right now!
