About This Beer
The World Beer Cup medal winners at Heist caused a surreptitious stir by maturing a rich, chocolatey base in a blend of bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill, Elijah Craig, and Old Forester 1910. Then the crew conditioned it on coconut, almonds, and cacao nibs — all toasted in-house.
Tasting Notes
This smooth confection delivers Almond Joy nuances all the way from the nose to the lingering finish. Marzipan and tropical coconut tones mesh with woody vanilla, whiskey caramel, and a dash of barrel spice in every sip. Meanwhile, the roasty backbone adds extra depth to the decadence.
