About This Beer
The WS crew began with a rich, syrupy Imperial Stout base. Then they matured the brew in Garrison Brothers Balmorhea bourbon barrels for over two years, giving it the complex barrel nuances of award-winning Texas whiskey.
Tasting Notes
Opulent brownie batter tones flow through every decadent taste, accentuated by notes of sweet raisins and a hint of roasty coffee. Silky bourbon and vanilla oak follow in the back end, finishing with a lingering barrel whisper.

I will never understand the subgenre of stouts that are thick, carbonation free and painfully sweet. This one one of them and I introduced it to my drain pretty quickly. It was a shame.
