A Note on This Beer

Fruity Hops + MORE Fruit: To crank this brew to sky-high levels of deliciousness, the brewers used stratospheric additions of Citra, Sabro, Mosaic, and Azacca Hops. Then, they rocketed the flavors even higher by letting the brew ferment on hundreds of pounds of peach and passionfruit puree! Did we mention it’s fruity?: Imagine drinking a fresh blend of OJ and passionfruit while lounging in a pile of freshly picked hops.

In the future, we’ll have space tourism, inflatable office buildings, and self-driving cars that let you enjoy a beer in the backseat on your way to the omni-dome for the hoverbike races.

And, if current trends are any indication, the beer you’re drinking will be packed with fruit.

But today, you don’t have to wait for an age of robot butlers and self-cleaning underpants to get a sip of what’s to come — you can taste Skies of Wonder: The Future right now. The brewery fermented this hopped-up hazebomb with hundreds of pounds of real fruit!

This delicious glimpse into the beers of tomorrow hails from Oregon’s Fort George, where they’ve apparently invented some kind of futuristic fruit infusion technology. How else could they so delicately balance bold flavors of tropical passion fruit, ripe peach, citrusy hops, and just the barest hint of resin?

Unfortunately, they have not yet invented a device to teleport this brew directly into my mouth, so I cruised down to Astoria, Oregon to grab a stash. I have enough to share with at least a few lucky Tavour members, so snag your cans, and taste The Future.

The SKIES are limitless, and I’ve got to WONDER if I’m going to see more of this in THE FUTURE. Not perfect, but damn close! #MorePlease

Pretty much as advertised. The peach/passion fruit flavor is a nice balance to the normal orange, juicy profile you get to the Citra, Sabro, Mosaic hops combo. Medium bodied and very flavorful

A smooth, refreshing brew perfect for a hot summer day. I would have preferred a stronger lemon flavor but can’t complain too much when you have a crushable at 8.7% ABV.

Aroma is hoppy with a hint of peach and citrus. Palate is light, refreshing, does not taste boozy whatsoever. Peachy keen and a lovely citrusy bouquet. Lovely IPA
