I tried making shortbread once. It did not go well.
APPARENTLY you’re supposed to use butter that’s soft, but not melted, chill your dough twice…yada yada. Let’s just say I didn’t do any of that fancy stuff, and my shortbread ended up tasting kinda sad.
Thank GOODNESS for Drekker’s Slang Du Jour — Apricot Shortbread. They stuffed each batch full of sumptuous apricts, sweet-nutty almonds, real shortbread cookies, cinnomony granola, milky coconut, and silky vanilla beans.
Every delectable sip blossoms with bright nuances of sliced stone fruit, rounded out by sugar-dusted cookies, and a spicy-sweet hint of cinnamon. The coconut gives an effortless tropical twist, begging another indulgent swig.
