A Note on This Beer

I get it. Not everyone loves the sweet and salty combo of peanut butter and banana.

Elvis was a big fan, I’m super into it, and so are all those sweets lovers who go to Jamba Juice in search of something healthy, only to end up indulging in a thick and creamy PB and Banana smoothie. Okay, fine, that’s also me!

If you can relate to my Elvis-like cravings, The Brewing Projekt’s Smoofee Banana Peanut Sour Smoothie might be your steez too.

This baby is uber thick. It packs a 7.1% ABV and is technically beer, but just like @Isaac K. puts it, I’m questioning whether or not it’s “literally just a peanut butter banana smoothie!”

Tavoursters don’t seem to mind how you categorize The Brewing Projekt’s Smoofees, you just always want more — and you’ve given the series an eye-popping average 4.42 member rating!

And, like I said, some of you will see Banana Peanut and look the other way — which means more of this ooey-gooey delight for the smoothie fans!

Strong natural banana flavor with a smooth and creamy peanut butter finish. One of the better tasting peanut flavors, probably due to the banana accentuating that taste.

This stuff is great. Just dont forget to swirl it around to get the thick stuff that likes to stay at the bottom of the can.

I see a lot of people hating. If you don’t like PB Banana smoothies, you’re not gonna like it. I thought it was amazing. A little thiccc with a perfect PB banana balance. (Like a real smoothie)

Well, that was interesting. Peanut and banana are there, but I wasn’t a fan of the combo. Tasted a bit chalky to me as well. A fun experiment though.

Very unique flavor. I love pb&banana Sammies. This beer takes a minute to get used to but does provide peanut and banana tastes as well as a sour finish.

This rocks. Tastes exactly like a peanut butter and banana smoothie. Thick and textured, with salty peanut on the nose, and creamy banana finish. Not sour in the slightest, but i don't think I'd want it to be. Sad I only got one can :(

Was not a huge fan of this bear. I though the peanut butter would be more prominent and there would not be such a caramelized banana flavor. We threw one in the freezer and that made it a little more enjoyable to drink...but all in all the caramelized banana flavor was too much.
