About This Beer
The Casita crew started by blending Barleywine and Imperial Stout aged in an assortment of bourbon, whiskey, and port wine barrels for 16 to 24 months. Then they conditioned it on a small amount of raisins, cherries, citrus peel, and spice for all the flavor of a world-class cake.
Tasting Notes
Bourbon-soaked raisin and chewy date cascade into amaretto and cinnamony spice on every sip. Hints of cocoa, dark fruit, and complex nuances of whiskey caramel and vanilla oak give the brew immeasurable depth. It all impeccably hides a bold 13% ABV.

This was a cool beer. I wasn’t sure how all the different flavors would blend, but worked very nicely.
