About This Beer
Spontaneous Raspberry gives you a tart, funky, and fruity taste of Plan Bee’s terroir. The brewers grew the malts, then turbid-mashed, long boiled, and coolshipped the wort overnight to infuse it with wild yeast. Then, they matured it in oak for ten months with raspberries and blackberries from a farm just 30 minutes up the road.
Tasting Notes
The rosy Ale pours with a rush of farmyard and brambleberry aromas. Each tangy mouthful traces the life of a raspberry — from underripe and sour to funkily fermenting in the sun. Soft oaky tannins and subtle nuances of wild rose complement the fruit, leading you back to your glass, to try and work out its complexities.
